Films which stand out due to the way they explore the potential of the short film format, independent of the support used to finalize them - this is the main precept behind the Enjoy the Shorts Program. Made up of four programs, the exhibition includes work done both in video and film, with a total of ten films in 35mm, two in 16mm and 16 videos.

Twelve fiction films will be shown, nine experimental, four animations and three documentaries. The animations this year stand out both because of their quantity as well as the originality of their themes, which range from the apocalypse through to nursery rhymes. The fiction and experimental films, in turn, present narratives rich in poetry and humor.

The strength of all the films are authentic, as can be seen in the specificity of the language used to amplify their intent beyond mere technical conditions. This allows us to verify humanistic and existentialist, as well as experimental, aspects in these audiovisual productions. In sum, doors open in all directions. Enjoy, then, the shorts, their diversity and their particularities.
