latin american INTERNATIONAL FILM SHOW
The International Film Show brought to Sao Paulo in 2005 the world’s most representative recent production in short films. Seventy films, from several different countries all over the world were presented. The films, divided into 10 programs, encompass every genre – fiction, animation, documentary and experimental film.
Most of the productions were acclaimed by audiences and critics, and were awarded prizes at the main short film festivals all over the world. Among them, the winners of the Oscar for Best Animation, the Silver Bear, Cannes, Clermont-Ferrand, Fespaco (Ouagadougou), Oberhausen, Toronto, Vila do Conde among others.
