How to get your Festival Accreditation?

You can get your accreditation at Cinemateca Brasileira from August 24th to September 1st. For payments and refunds ask for Fabiana Amorim at Cinemateca from 2pm to 8pm.

Your role at the Festival

You play a very important role at the Festival and we would like to see you as much as possible at the festival headquarters and at other festival venues. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before your screening so that you can introduce it. Don’t miss the Festival’s happy hours, workshops, panels, and parties. More information about the Festival’s extra activities are available at the Festival Guide or with the hospitality staff.

You need a ticket to get in the screenings. Tickets are available at the up to one hour before each screening at the Cinemateca accreditation desk. You can also get your tickets at the venue with the festival staff wearing an orange t-shirt. Filmmakers can get can get five tickets for their screenings.

Please note that your festival badge DOES NOT give you free access to the screenings. Only press and Festival Representatives are given free access to all screenings.

Extra Events

Guests are welcome to all parties, brunch, and lunch except for those that require a formal invitation. You can get more information at the Hotel lobby or at the Accreditation desk.

The Festival offers shuttle service for the extra events far from the hotel area. Apart from that, there will be shuttle making the following itineraries:

- Hotel Novotel – Cinemateca – Vila Mariana Subway Station – Hotel Novotel
- Hotel Novotel – MIS – CineSesc – Hotel Novotel

Shuttle service to Cinemateca and the subway station starts at 3pm and leaves the hotel every 15 minutes until 11pm. Shuttle service to MIS and CineSesc starts at 2pm and leaves every hour until 10pm.

The Cinemateca is near Parque Ibirapuera. The street references are Sena Madureira, Joaquim Távora, Tutóia, and Otonis.

The festival recommends the use of public transportation. The Vila Mariana and Ana Rosa subway stations are approximately 1000 meters far from the Hotel and from Cinemateca. Taxis are not a very cheap option, but can be easily found.

The Festival DOES NOT offer shuttle from the Hotel back to the airport. We suggest the Airport Bus Service. The bus leaves from Maksoud Plaza Hotel at Alameda Campinas, 195 (close to Brigadeiro Subway Station, located at Paulista Avenue). It takes one hour to get to the airport from Paulista Avenue so plan to leave the hotel in advance. The bus fare to the airport is R$ 27 and a cab costs approximately R$ 100. For more information, please ask at the Hotel Front Desk or call Airport Bus Service at 55-11-6221-0244.
