Your Presence at the Festival

The festival’s headquarters is the Cinemateca Brasileira, so always be around there! You can always attend other sessions at different screening rooms. On the day of your film’s screening it’s important to get there with at least 20 minutes in advance, in order to present the film to the audience. After each session, the producers talk with the audience, in the screening rooms: Cinemateca Brasileira, Centro Cultural São Paulo e Cinesesc.

Don’t miss out on the festival’s parallel activities: Happy Hours, Workshops, discussions and parties. More information on the Credentials or with the festival’s receptive team.

Passes/Tickets are obligatory to enter the screening rooms. At Cinemateca Brasileira, the tickets can be taken beforehand, between 02:00pm and 08:00pm. On other screening rooms, the festival’s monitors have reserved tickets to guests with credentials. Each one of those guests has the right to take one ticket per screening. During the session of their screening, filmmakers can obtain five extra tickets for their guests in the screening rooms Cinemateca Brasileira e Cinesesc.

We reaffirm that the presentation of the credentials don’t give access to the screenings. Only credited press or festival’s guardians will have total access. Having credentials, however, gives you the right to get to the screenings before its start, as well as providing availability of seats.

Some of the events are open to all guests. Others require invitations. On the credentials tent you can always find information about those events.

The Festival provides vans for the special events located on places that are distant from the festival’s circuit, such as parties. There will also be vans leaving from Novotel Hotel, performing the following route:

- Novotel – Cinemateca – Metro Vila Mariana (subway station)
- Novotel – Arround the Paulista Avenue.

The route’s schedule will be placed on various spots as well as distributed to the guests at the moment of their accreditation

We suggest the use of public transportation. The subway stations such as Ana Rosa and Vila Mariana, are the closest ones.

The Cinemateca Brasileira (Brazilian Film Library) is close to Parque do Ibirapuera (Ibirapuera’s park). You can get there by Sena Madureira st, Joaquim Távora st, Tutóia st and Otonis st.

You have the option to choose using the “Bilhete Único”, a pre-paid card that allows you to hop in and out of 4 buses in the period of 3 hours, and pay only the price of one ticket (R$2,30). This Service is also connected to the subway. Once you ride the bus and the subway, you get a discount on the price of your subway ride (that costs R$2,40).

Taxis are not a cheap option, but can be easily found at any spot of the city.

The Festival is not responsible for the guests return to the airport. However, we remind you that there is a Special Bus Service (Airport Bus Service), from Congonhas Airport to Guarulhos Airport.

The route to the Guarulhos airport takes more than one hour, so plan things in advance! For more information, check the reception of the hotel, or call Airport Bus Service Central (tel: 2221-0244). The cost of that service is R$28,00.

To get to Congonhas Airport, you can choose to take the regular bus. The Line VILA NATAL (675D-10), on Otonis st, (next to the number 245) or Sena Madureira st, 856, goes straight to Congonnhas Airport.

A taxi ride to the airports costs around R$70,00 (Guarulhos) and R$30,00 (Congonhas).
