The Bionic Woman is selected to Clermont-Ferrand
The Bionic Woman (photo), by the director of Ceará Armando Praça, is one of the Brazilian films selected for the International Competition of the Festival of Short Films from Clermont-Ferrand. The story of Martha, retired character of the story of Caio Fernando Abreu, it already went through the rooms of the Cinemateca Brasileira, Cineclube Grajaú, Centro Cultural São Paulo and CineSESC during the 20th edition of the São Paulo Short Film Festival - Curta Kinoforum.
rnAlso the Brazilian Não Me Deixe em Casa, by Daniel Aragão, also received the good news to go to France in the International Competition. The short film of Daniel tells the story of a couple of teenagers who have some intimate scenes circulating on the Internet.
rnStill other five short film directors will represent the nation in the experimental display Lab, also competitive. They are Gregório Graziosi with the movie Target, Tatiana Azevedo with the documentary at Três Tabelas, Carlos Nogueira with the animation Ziggurat, the pernambucana Renata Pinheiro with the movie Super Baroque and Gustavo Rosa de Moura with Avaca.
